RIP Big Kiwi Justin Rys

Bodybuilder Justin passed away on 4 June 2015 after a long illness associated with his heart.

He will be remembered for his passion for training and bodybuilding, and his big heart to teach others the pitfalls of his past.

Rest in Peace and we hope you can now breathe easy and enjoy many workouts without pain.

	25 Sept 2010 Justin Rys held a training court at the Bay BodyFit gym in between the prejudging and night show of the ProFormance CNI. In front of many enthusiastic weight trainers he powered through an arms workout answering questions in between sets.

Joe Naufahu's Functional Form, August 10

Joe Joe, Lisa and Phil	18 August Its a tough job but someone has to do it! Went and hung out with Joe Naufua (aka Eli the ripped rugby player on Go Girls - and yes he's still ripped!) and Phil, the creators of Ludus Magnus. A new group fitness training programme in Auckland. Aim of Ludus Magnus is to combine fun while performing functional fitness in a team setting. Joe explains and shows us some of the fun things they get up to during a Video of the session here, and yes I convinced Joe we had to see him train with his shirt off.

Reuben and Lisa	Iron Giant Strikes Again Under the disco globe of the Shirley Workingman's Club, Iron Giant Reuben Simanu, brought out his posing suit and fancy deadlifting shoes to give us another display of his powerful strength at the NZ Powerlifting Nationals in Chch on 7 Aug 10.	click pic to watch video
We followed Reuben behind the scenes and also captured Reuben as he squatted, pushed and heaved his way through the Nationals. Not everything went his way though and that elbow that he injured is still giving him some grief in the bench. Watch Reuben at the Nationals here
