Super Body Success

The Supergirls and I had a wonderful weekend away at the NABBA Waikato comp. Coming to watch Janine and Wendy do their thing were Jill all the way from Wanganui and Kirstine from Auckland, so was great to have them to catchup with each other and spur each other on.

Ofcourse it was all about Janine and Wendy though! I thought Janine looked the best she's ever in a comp. She's had quite some time off competing and its what just what her body needed to grow. This time she looked full and lean and her legs were much harder too. Maybe we need to give her some higher heels so she doesn't get lost on stage amongst the tall timber if she's put in with the tall girls again - eh Janine! She placed 3rd in the Open figure class.

It was Wendy's 4th comp this year! as much as I'd love her to get some rest and grow, that girl just loves the stage too much!!! Wendy placed 2nd in the Sen Physique. Wendy's still lean so to prevent her from getting too scrawny, I've kept up her calories while she maintains a medium/heavy training regime.  She still has a few more comps this year so hopefully there'll be some of her body left by the end of the year!

Thanks for a fun weekend girls!

Congratulations to our Supergirl Kirstine Nelson who placed 2nd at the NABBA Counties Novice Figure Tall class on 5 July.  Its amazing what a stressfree week can do to a figure as Kirstine looked so much better this show that at Akl Champs the previous weekend.

With less stress throughout this week, her body didn't hold as much water and she ended up looking alot leaner - all with the same diet and water plan. And with her hair down she looked much happier and the smile just kept on beaming the whole time she was onstage.

Nice to see Kirstine!

Lisa's wicked weekend on Go Figure TV!
Words didn't really capture my fab weekend and Damita's amazing change so check out this vid of our weekend.

Take a glimpse of my punishment for Neralee, I check out the girls' lunchbox and Damita reveals her next challenge. All that and then some!

Firstly I need to say 3 cheers to Damita " hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray and hip hip hooray!!!!' for melting away 15kg in the past very strenous 11 weeks.  And it was fantastic to be able to be down in Wellington to celebrate Damita's success along with fellow Go Figure girls Jill and Neralee on 15 June.  Read more

Congratulations to our Supergirls Kirstine Nelson and Heidi Kruger-Carey who competed at the NZFBB Auckland Champs on 28 June.

Heidi won the Open Short Figure while Kirstine missed out being placed in her very competitive Novice Figure Tall class. Nevetheless both made improvements on their figures from their last comps which has been my main goal for them which has been achieved.. yay! Read More

Congratulations to our Supergirl Wendy Sole who took out the Overall Physique title at the NABBA BoP show on 25 May. Granted, there were only 5 physique girls all up, you still got to be in it to win it right? so well done to Wendy, who loves competing and the stage anyway, to keep on her diet.  Wendy glammed up with a splash of colour and earrings, and was transformed into a gorgeous figure (oops still physique Wendy eh?!)  with the help from Jacqueline Lewis who helped with her makeup.  Now Wendy is into forced rest after 3 comps in 2 months but she'll be back again in July.

Speaking of July, her fellow supergirl Janine Haywood is looking great for the NABBA Waikato on 26 July.  I've increased Janine's calories and holding her back from competing so watch out Waikato where Janine will be itching to strut her stuff!
