No Jamie Cameron isn't about to step on stage any day soon but it sure looks like it doesn't it?! Jamie, who won the International Class at NABBA North Harbour in November 06, says his bodyfat doesn't go above 10% most of the year as he likes to stay lean through regular boxing sessions and eat a good diet. He hopes to put on a few more kgs by the end of the year where he's aiming to compete at the Nationals and hopefully qualify for an International show.

When’s your next contest? When will you start preparing for that? You’ll have to wait and see.
Has there been someone who’s had a big influence on your bodybuilding career? And how have they helped you? My biggest inspiration in bodybuilding is Arnold Schwarzenegger and his “stay hungry” philosophy.
My biggest inspiration in life is my family and my beautiful wife Dorota.
How do you keep check on your weight? Do you have a weight you don’t go above? I watch what I eat all year round, I tend not to go above 9% body fat.
What’s your typical ‘off season’ diet for mass building? Normally I try to have over 5000 calories per day, at the moment it’s 8000. Two weeks on, then two weeks on 4000 calories. I will repeat that for the next three months. I’ve put 5kg of lean mass and lost 1% body fat over the last 6 weeks. It works for me.

What does your mass building training phase involve? Can you outline your training split for the week, basic sets and reps, and how much cardio you do – if any. I change my training program from week to week, changing sets, reps, exercise to keep my body guessing. Every month I do a week of 50-100 reps on any body part I think is legging behind.
As cardio – I box 3 times a week for about 40min each session.
Supplements you live by? L.A Muscle Products are the Best products I’ve come across. I’ve been using them for the past 7 years. They seem to be working. I use LA Whey protein, Glutamine, Norateen Heavyweight 2, Norateen, ZMA, LA Aminos, Instant Creatine. The one product I cant live without is L.A Muscle IP4: Muscle and joint maintenance. That stuff’s great.
Have you had a role who’s inspired you? Which Male Bodybuilder’s physique do you admire? Arnold Schwarzenegger He’s the man!!
What was your favorite part about competing? And the worst? Winning – the best. Standing on stage in just a pair of undies – the worst.
What’s your ultimate goal in bodybuilding? Like most bodybuilders – to turn Pro, would be a dream come true. Watch this space!!!!
What advice/tips would you give to some of the young men starting out their Bodybuilding journey? If you want to give someone the best present you can introduce them to weight training. A lifetime of good health is priceless. Learn to develop your body and mind, not your ego. It’s not all about how much you can lift.
Your body is the one thing you truly own so make the most of it, train hard, train smart. If you see me at the gym, and you want to ask me anything, that’s cool, I’m always happy to help people out, Just wait till finish my set!!
