Fantastic end to year - NABBA Nth Hbr, 07

It was a busy ending for a great year for the Supergirls and for me running around after everyone!. On 3 November 5 supergirls competed at the NABBA North Harbour in Auckland while Monty was our lone figure at the NZFBB Taranaki Champs. 

At the North Harbour the Supergirls had a great time and came away with good results; Wendy Sole placed 2nd in the Masters Physique, recent additions to the super body programme Gladys Matthews won her Sen Figure 45+, Yvonne Erixon and Kirstine Nelson did not place in the Novice Figure Tall but just completing their challenge of competing is a win in itself. And finally Heidi Kruger made a last minute change to compete there instead of Taranaki and with good result. She was up against much harder conditioned girls but did pretty good to place 3rd behind Katrina Hall and eventual overall winner Teresa Gannaway.

Meanwhile down in New Plymouth, Monty - without her party oops I mean competition buddy Heidi - did fantastically to win her first Open competition and to top it off taking out the Overall Title, yippee!!  As usual from what I hear Monty posed well and really showed her stage experience, so well done Monty. Now for your well earned rest and grow phase.

Monty popped in for a cuppa after her Naki win but alas she didn't bring her trophy but as you can see you can't take the poser out of the girl!! right: Lisa and Monty
