Congratulations to our Supergirls Kirstine Nelson and Heidi
Kruger-Carey who competed at the NZFBB Auckland Champs on 28
June.
Heidi won the Open Short Figure while
Kirstine missed out being placed in her very competitive
Novice Figure Tall class. Nevetheless both made improvements on
their figures from their last comps which has been my main goal for
them which has been achieved.. yay! Read

Lisa and
Heidi |
As we only had 9 weeks to get into condition, Heidi really had
to put her pedal to the mettle to get into contest condition and I
must congratulate her for her dogged determination. She really
worked hard on her extra cardio which contributed to her being alot
leaner this year which also showed through in her legs. Her
legs were much more defined and some nice striations in her quads
and hamstrings.
Overall, Heidi looked fuller and harder and presented a nice
healthy figure. We also made some diet changes which also affected
the way her mid section came in alot tighter at this
show.

Heidi has a neat little figure package (if I do say so myself!)
and although she didn't win the Overall title this year, I'm sure
she certainly was the overall in many of the audiences eyes that
night. So our 10th Anniversary show together was a success Heidi
and I'm very proud of your changes this year. Well
done!
It was Kirstine's second show and she certainly improved from her
North Harbour comp last November. She came in alot leaner, due to
many hours hitting the pavement! There were a few things that
didn't quite go to plan but Kirstine took that in her stride and
soldiered on with during the comp anyway. |

We'll have those issues sorted by the Counties comp this week. Look
forward to seeing you on stage again with a more smiley face I
hope!!!
Well done again to both girls!!!
