The Ultimate Recovery Stack is a new recovery supplement from Balance. Its designed to be jampacked full of nutrients which aims to enhance recovery after intense training sessions so you can train harder at your next workout.

The Ultimate recovery stack contains: Creatine, Beta Alanine, Glutamine, BCAAs, HMB, Taurine, Grapeseed extract, Magnesium and a range of vitamins and minerals to help enhance absorption. A detailed breakdown of the ingredients is outlined at bottom of page.

We chose 10 trialists to use the Ultimate Recovery Stack as part of their training and supplement regime, and here's their findings:

Lisa, Go Figure  Well its been a month of consistant training and with the help of the Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack taken after training, my recovery has been fantastic!  I'm sure I'm not the only one to experience an increased recovery rate as others on this trial have experienced similar results to me.  Usually I'd be too knacked to do any serious cardio in the afternoon but since the infusion of the Balance recovery formula into my supplement regime I've actually been enthusiastic about cardio and managing to do at least 45min most days.  Very good for me!  Not only has my energy levels increased for cardio but my ability to train hard the next day has improved too. Although I'm slightly tender the next day, my energy's still good to go hard during training the next day.  My recovery rate in between sets have been good so I'm more inclined to put weight on the bar and so I have gotten stronger during this month.

At the start of the month, I was doing 40pounds incline dumbell press with help of spotter for last 2 reps (out of 8) but by the end of the month I was up to 45 of 8 by myself!  Woohoo go me.  DB shoulder press has improved too from 35 to 40pounds, energy to do legs has increased, although I'm not trying to go too heavy with leg press or squats as my back tends to get bit strained so just trying to do more reps to 12 instead in good form.

Overall, I love the Balance Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack. I liked the way it helped me with recovery not only between workouts, with cardio but also in between sets. I've noticed I'm looking fuller and leaner (probably due to doing cardio) and generally noticing my muscles are denser too. I'm definitely going to keep it in my supplement regime.

Thanks Balance!
Lisa, Go Figure

Jeremy Carter, 4 July: Hi guys, My final thoughts: After such an impressive trial on the first week I was ampted up ready for the second week (I probably over excited myself) as I had mixed results in the second week. I highest of highs and some average days so i started thinking to myself with
such great results in the first week there must be a reason why not such good results in the second week, so many verables ie, mood, weather starting to get really cold down here, food intake, overanalyse, nutritional intake, overtraining etc.
So I went out and brought myself another tub so I could get a better feel and understanding of how the supplement was working with my body and training, and pleased to say for the next two weeks I noticed a more consistent result, loss of cravings after training, still got sore but was able to recover and train quicker.
Training partner has noticed my workouts was 10x more intense with less rest between sets and always wanting to go go go (usually I chat and stall). I would like to thank Balance of course and go figure for selecting me to trail this product, as it was my pleasure.
Final quick sumup, definitely a supplement I would add to my post workout arsenal just behind the basics whey isolate a good mv, vc, I dont think that it is too dear as have you guys seen the price of L-GLUTAMINE these days.
Cheers
Jeremy
Lee Mayhew, 2 July: I finished my container in the middle of this week and I'd definitely recommend the recovery stack.  I found it gave me energy and I actually enjoyed my training since I have the energy to put into it.  I'm not a hardcore bodybuilder or anything but I found the stack did help with my training and I'm even noticing some wee muscles poking through!  The product's probably pricey for me but would recommend the ones who are really serious about their training to try it.  It was a great month, cheers.

Lee, 6 June: Usually I just have protein powder and a banana after I train. This week my trainers got me training heavy and I'm noticing the Balance products really helping me. I train in the morning and by afternoon Im really tired and have no energy but since Ive been taking this only about 2 times so far, I don't feel as worn out during the day or the next. Will let you know how my second week goes thanks for the opportunity to be involved.

Katie Turner 1 July: When I finished my container I went and bought another because I really like this product.  My PT's been training me pretty hard with heavy weights so I really appreciated the post shake I'd been having.  We've been quite amazed at the strength I've gained in the past month especially with my squats and now actually squatting my own bodyweight for 6 reps. I was on the way to doing it but I think the stack did help my recovery so I got to that weight faster.  The shake tasted great and I found generally I haven't been as hungry after training like I usually am and even the next day I haven't been craving either.  My energy levels at work has also been great too and haven't had that lull in the afternoon where I felt I needed to nap! Thanks for choosing me for the trial.

Katie, 21 June: Its now the end of my second week on the Recovery Stack and I must say I'm really loving it. I'm finding that I'm generally less fatigued and have more energy to train the following day after a hard workout. Since I'm not so sore to train, my PTs piling on the weights so in that way I'm sure the recovery stack is helping me get stronger. I'm almost finished the container but I think I'll buy some as I'm finding it really helpful to my workouts.

Katie, 9 June: Hi there, thanks for picking me for your trial. I'm loving the recovery stack and great taste too. I started the supplement on Tuesday last week and it came just in time. My PT had me doing some heavy weight sessions 2 days in a row, legs on Tues then back on Wed. Usually I'm really tired for my back day as he really got me doing heavy squats and lunges and I'm normally quite sore for a few days. But although my legs were still tender, I still had plenty of energy for back which is quite unusual. My legs did recover by Thurs and my back felt great then too. Another thing, I didn't feel quite as famished like I usually do and the drink seemed to fill the gap nicely until my dinner. So far its going great and I'm not as daunted by the heavy days ahead if I can recover like this.
Thanks.

Kevin Joye 4 July: My experience on the stack has been very positive. I've increased my training intensity and also added more weight to most of my exercises. On this trial, thought I'd also try a new training split so that I could give my body the maximum time to recover so I can go hard again the next day. I did a 3 day split with rest days in between heavy training days where I did 2 bodyparts each time.  I did this routine 6 months ago but found that I was too tired to put everything into it so thought I'd give it another go using the stack.  I'd say the stack really made a difference to my training and recovery in this new training split as I was able to pack on more weights on the bar and even put a couple of kgs on the scales too.  I would recommend the recovery stack to help with recovery and eventhough its quite expensive I'd say its worth it as you get all the ingredients in one go rather than trying to buy them separately.

Kevin, 13 June:I've been taking the Recovery Stack now for the past 2 weeks after all my workouts, 8 in all. Working a 2 day split and training heavy and so far I'm enjoying the shakes. I took out my normal supps Glutamine and Creatine during the trial to make sure the effects of the Recovery Stack were because of the shakes. I've noticed that I'm not as hungry as what I normally am after training but I sure know about it by the time I get home to get in my complex carbs and protein. I didn't notice too much difference to my weights in the first week but now at the end of the second week, I'm not feeling as sore so I've been able to hit the weights hard this week and have added extra couple kgs to my bench and shoulder press. Thanks for getting me on the trial and I'll let you know what difference its made to me when I've finished the tub, cheers.

Wendy Sole, 4 July: All good things must come to an end, & sadly my trial container of the Ultimate Recovery Stack is empty.  I am pleased to report that this is one product that actually does deliver on its claims.  Throughout the trial I have been able to train hard & heavy & my recovery has been great.  It has given me heaps of energy & I have felt strong throughout every workout.    The start of the trial was very timely for me, as I had just competed in 3 bodybuilding competitions in 5 weeks.  This product definitely aided my recovery & meant I was able to continue to train with intensity.  I would recommend the Ultimate Recovery stack to anyone who likes to go hard.  It gets top marks from me, & it is now part of my supplement regime.  Thank you Balance & Lisa for this opportunity.

Wendy, 17 June: I have now completed 2 full weeks on the Ultimate Recovery Stack.  I deliberately pushed myself to the limit last week to see what the impact would be. I am pleased to report that I experienced little muscle soreness following training & that I felt strong throughout the week, ready for each workout.  I did find that I was hungrier within a shorter space of time after taking it than during the first week.  I am still enjoying the taste & I do like the fact that it mixes so quickly & easily with protein powder. Watch this space....

Jane Clarke, 4 July: Well I'm sold on the recovery stack. I have bought my own container and with 10% discount its not too bad considering the price if you bought all the ingredients separately. I have found that I am not as tired and I can lift much more than I could before. Whilst I know I've done a workout the next day I am not sore like I used to be.My afternoon cardio is energetic and more beneficial than in the past. Thank you Balance for giving me the chance to try out your new product.

Jane, 19 June. I have noticed an increase in strength since using the ‘stack' and have way more energy to complete workouts. I am particularly pleased with the level of energy because I have increased my cardio over the last two weeks and need the extra energy. I have kept everything else the same in the terms of supplements so that the new product gives a true indication. I would like to know about the cost as would really like to continue using the product after the trial.

Jane, 9 June: I have now had three days of using the recovery stack. I quite like the taste and have it in a protein shake. Not usually a fan of orange either. Have had a busy week so it's kind of hard tell the true effect of the drink but I have to say that I'm sleeping well and waking up feeling 'strong'. I've been able to increase weights this week and feel good during the workouts. I didn't think it would fill me up (combined with the shake) but I'm feeling as though I have had enough 'to eat' so to speak at the time but am definitely ready for my lunch later. I'm looking forward to more time of using it to feel further benefits.

Sharon McLean 27 June: Well week 2 on the Balance Recovery Stack was awesome.  I had personal bests on shoulder press and lat raises and also D/B incline press.  Considering I'm now in diet mode I'm now training better and heavier than I was prior to dieting, YAY!  I expected to be much sorer than I was the next day or the day after but not the case. Cardio is also easier to do as I have much more energy.  For those that know me I usually race around like the energizer bunny, now I'm like the energizer bunny on Red Bull, lol.

I'm about half way through the product and can honestly say I'm very impressed with it. Will let you know more next week. Cheers, Sharon

Sharon 13 June: Well its been an interesting week.  Along with training and day work and starting to diet, I have been helping a friend out with her business this week and ended up working Mon-Thur nights from 10pm till 4am, so have had very little sleep.    I started the recovery stack on Tuesday, (love the taste) did shoulder training and achieved PB's with all exercises and absolutely no muscle soreness, was stoked:)   Did legs yesterday, did higher reps but still with heavier weights than I would have generally used.   Overall, so far I'm stoked with the product as I did expect to be totally wiped out with limited sleep. Things are back to normal next week, so it will be interesting to see what gains I get once properly rested.

Lee Lynch: FINAL THOUGHTS
So I left it off at day 5 in my last email and was going to continue the format of explaining how I felt each day and the following recovery days. However I'm now approaching the end of my trail with about one serving left (12 for the container) and I have realized that this product actually works. After that 5th day leg work out I was wasted and expecting the worst the next day! So it was a pleasant surprise when I woke in the morning to a very mild muscle pain and very little lactic acid build up. The remainder of my work outs in the trail have given similar results even lifting at or close to my personal best. Even after working out with my PT on Friday and struggling to walk out of the gym, I was feeling sore but otherwise good the next day and day after.

I think the only problem with this product may be the price. The cheapest I could find it on the net was $44.90 for the 780g which at 12 serves works out at $3.74 per serve. It's not to bad but just another extra cost that may put some people off, considering its a top up to supplement staples like creatine and protein.
Personally I will continue taking the recovery stack instead of my Kre-Alk/ taurine mix as it does work out about the same cost and I believe it works better.

Finally I would like to thank Lisa and the Go-Figure team for allowing me to participate in the trial and look forward to seeing you all at the South Island Classic in September.

Steve Kidd 17 June: As suggested I have not been using it everyday only after really hard weights suggestion where I have been left wanting afterwards.

Prior to taking Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack I have struggled to recover from heavy weight sessions where I have been left depleted and sluggish around the home and waking up the next day still recovering. Since trialling this product I've noticed immediately that I have more energy and bounce back allot quicker and not only that but the next day my body is no where near as fatigued as with previous workouts. Which allows me to go back to the gym and carry on at a high level of intensity on my next workout.  I will definitely be ordering more of this product and introducing it into my supplement regime.
Regards, Steve

Bevan McKenzie, 17 June: It has been just over 2 weeks now that I have been using ultimate recovery and I have been using it 5 x a week after every afternoon workout. I have been mixing it with my protein powder every time as I prefer it this way plus it is more time efficient.  As far as recovery goes I have had a pretty good measuring stick. That being my training partner. Him and I are usually sore pretty much to the same extent after each workout and for the same number of days.

Our muscle soreness usually disappears just before our next workout and I have to say on average since starting to take ultimate recovery I am recovering approx about 1 day quicker than my training partner after all workouts. As Far as strength goes I have marginally gotten stronger in some exercises in the last 2 weeks but cant be sure if it is due to ultimate recovery. I do also think I will keep this supplement up precontest as well since the body needs those high glycemic carbs after a workout. Just takes the thought out of postwork nutrition.
Cheers, Bevan

5 June. Thanks again for selecting myself as one of the trailists for this product.

I received it on the Friday 30th so thought hey I would start this tonite after my training. Having just got back into training after a 2 week break to recover the body the current soreness is extremely noticeable(albeit nice and satifying.lol) so starting this straight away having been so sore lately I should notice some changes.

After reading the container I believed that it probably best to use after each workout as suggested by balance to see a true result. Being only 12 servings in the small 730g container that means this will last 2weeks.

Seems expensive but I guess if you were to buy the key separate items, such as creatine, glutamine, BCAA's , HMB, and beta alanine you would be spending a lot more plus have the inconvenience of trying to mix everything up, plus not forgetting to take some supplements, this does make it a lot easier not to mention the added value of all the extra vitamins and minerals in the ultimate recovery stack, It practically replaces my multivitamin as well.

After my training I mixed up my first try at this with water and it mixed well and tasted good, not as sweet as the effervescent creatine, The next day I mixed it with my balance 100% whey vanilla powder and much prefer it mixed with the protein powder.  After 2 days and 2 workouts of using this I have not yet noticed any significant changes, However my quads were sore Friday from Thursdays training, Sat my quads were extremely sore but by Monday they had fully recovered , probably about 1 day sooner than normal.  but I will soon see after a week or so what difference it makes.  NB I am still having my 5g creatine before workouts as well as I usually do.

Now After I have used this 4 x and considering I do my main workouts in the evenings 5 x per week and I do 4 short 20-30 min workouts in the mornings to focus on weak point training I am now noticing even given I have a slight cold that I am recovering quicker, (Still getting just as sore but it is not lasting as long) Ready to hit tonites session hard.

So far so good, Had a really strong chest workout Tuesday so after another couple of weeks I should be able to assess if I am any stronger for this.

Cheers, Bev.

Lee Lynch: I'm always a little suspect about new products but after reading the nutritional information list of BALANCE ULTIMATE RECOVERY STACK (B.U.R.S.) I was interested to see how it would compare to my normal post workout supplements. (4 x Kre-Alkalyn, 2 x Taurine and ON Whey shake) For the trial I decided to stop my normal supplements and replace them with the B.U.R.S. except for my shake.
Firstly I'll get my minor gripes out of the way! The scoop is pathetic, its to small and has a funny handle that often leads to your heaped powder falling out. That leads to my next gripe which is probably directed more at all companies. Why a heaped scoop??????? How about you make a scoop that is the correct amount when level, just a thought.
Like I said minor gripes and my only real ones with B.U.R.S. On the up side it tastes good by itself (don't mix with protein) and mixes very well when shaken.
I have taken B.U.R.S. 5 times now and below you will see the days laid out with my thoughts on the recovery if any.

WEEK 1: Only took B.U.R.S. on 3 separate work out days
DAY 1; Chest and Shoulder Work out. As you would expect didn't really notice much difference with my recovery, had the standard day after and second day pains.
DAY 2; Leg Work out. Lifting close to personal bests to ensure some pain. The day after the workout out I felt as sore as normal and was expecting the second day of recovery to be one of those can't walk days, it didn't eventuate so either B.U.R.S. is working or I lucked out.
DAY 3; Arm Work out. Sorry, average workout due to a big day at work and the first week of dieting ending. Normal day after muscle pain.
WEEK 2: So far only taken B.U.R.S twice this week
DAY 4; Chest and Shoulder Work out. Big work out weights within 5% of max and high reps with drop sets. Expecting the next day pain but felt good, more than normal. Likewise with second day pain being not as bad as I would have thought.
DAY 5; Leg Work out. Good work out good lifts all round Personal bests with leg press and stiff legged deads. Can't tell you how I feel yet because I only just got home so I'll update later.

Like alot of you out there I've just started my dieting before the trial so it may effect the results and the weights I'm lifting in a few weeks. So far I would have to say B.U.R.S. is a good product, I am feeling similar recovery times to what I experienced with my own supplement routine. Economics may end up being the deciding factor on this product for me.

Wendy Sole: Hi there Go Figure fans, I'm Wendy.  Lucky for me, I was one of the chosen ones to trial the Ultimate Recovery Stack.  Lisa & I agreed that since I had just competed in 3 bodybulding shows in 5 weeks that I needed all the help I could get! I started taking it last week with my post-workout shake.  It scores top marks for mixability & taste.  It is also nice & filling.  Last week was my first full week back into heavy training following my last competition, hence  I experienced muscle soreness.  I did feel strong throughout the week though.  I think I will be able to give a better account of recovery & strength changes at the end of another week, given that my body has had to cope with a bit of a pounding in the last few weeks! Watch this space!!!

Jeremy Carter: Hi guys jeremy here! I received my trial container on Tuesday am the after after Queens Bday. So missing a day of training on Monday (yes thats right down in Invercargill the gym was closed). So I was eager to get back into training. To catch up I was training 4 days in a row which I usually don't do, so lets get into it.
First Impressions reading the label- dextrose, creatine, beta alaine, bcaa, hmb, magnesium etc.  I'm thinking to myself sounds like balance have done their research as this looks like the premium post workout cocktail of growth and recovery. Finish workout shot home thats right 5min from the gym otherwise I would take it with me to the gym.
First Impression mix ability excellent, taste beautiful. After taking waited 15 min (still in side window of opportunity) , had a 30g serving of WPI, MV, VC. First thing I noticed is my cravings usually happen after workout have gone.

I thought honestly by the third day in a row I would start to struggle, that wasn't the case by Friday I had my best leg workout yet blowing my training partner away with weight and intensity.
So yes I back this as a valuable tool, a little on the expensive side but it is post workout only not for everyday, thats all for now I will try and push the product and myself to the limit.
Cheers, Jeremy

Lisa's Early Review
Thought I'd just give an 'earlybird' review on the Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack.  I've only taken it 3 times this week after my weight training sessions so there hasn't been noticeable effects on my strength - just yet!

Firstly I must say the orange taste of the Ultimate Recovery is very nice.  I  mix it with vanilla protein powder (not sure I was supposed to but you can never get too much protein eh?!) and it made the shake taste like orange bubblegum mmmm.  Everything mixed well and there wasn't any lumps.
Usually I feel quite hungry and tired about an hour after training eventhough I have a shake and sweet potato afterwards.  But I found that since this formula has the dextrose in it I haven't been as hungry as what I usually am as my muscles seemed to have 'sucked up' all the glycemic carbs into my muscles faster than the complex carbs.  I didn't have the sweet potato along with the shake otherwise it'll be way too many carbs for me! I try to pace myself with little bit of carbs throughout the day.

Perhaps all those other ingredients: Glutamine, BCAAs, Taurine and Beta Alanine are helping to put the right things back in my system which has made me more efficient. I train in the morning but have felt a pump throughout the rest of my training days.

Coupled with the Ultimate Recovery Stack, I'm also taking the Balance Beta Alanine before training to help with energy and strength. So far I still have the nice sore feeling the next day, which I enjoy!  At the moment I'm training every other day so the rest days in between are giving me the recovery time I need to train again.  When I do train again, the muscles don't feel as sore and I do try to push myself - when my training partner decides to come and train that is!

Will keep you posted on my progress and that of the trialists.

Ultimate Recovery Stack is jam packed full of nutrients to help you maximise your recovery rate so you can train harder at your next workout.  The formula's so potent that its recommended that you only take it 3 times a week at your most intense workout and not for everyday use.

When should I take the Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack?

As soon after your training session or competition to enhance the body's response to the nutrients provided in this formulation.  The "window of opportunity" that is described by nutritionists for optimum recovery is about one hour from the completion of exercise.  The sooner the better is the rule and with this being a great tasting, easily mixed, rapidly absorbed powdered drink you should have all your bases covered.

Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack not only offers restoration and repair of muscle tissue but a wide range of macro and micro nutrients, vitamins and minerals to ensure optimum physical recovery and a very strong immune system.   Optimum is the key word here, this latest innovation in the Balance range will generate faster and more effective support to ensure your Ultimate Body Performance every time.

Fundamentally this is a product that is taken after heavy training sessions, perhaps 2 - 3 times a week.  This is not for every day and every training use.

What is recovery and how important is it? Recovery can be described as the time required for the repair of damage to the body caused by training or competition. This includes the restoration of the energy producing enzymes inside muscle fibres, carbohydrate stores in muscle cells, and the endocrine (hormonal) system, repair and development of muscle tissue and immune functions systems.  During recovery, muscles should increase the proteins in their overall structure to improve strength, replenish and increase energy stores and increase the quantities of enzymes to improve the lactate threshold and VO2 max.  Muscle cells are most receptive to fast absorbing carbohydrate and amino acids during the first hour following a training session. This intake of carbohydrates and amino acids as well as replenishing the fuel stores also has a positive effect on protein restoration, repair and growth in muscles.

What are the benefits?

      ·          Increased muscle tissue recovery
·          Increased total work capacity done
·          Increased strength and builds lean muscle mass
·          Increased time to exhaustion
·          Increased aerobic and anaerobic endurance
·          Delayed fatigue
·          Reduced oxidative stress
·          Improved immune function

What are those essential ingredients included in the Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack?

High Glycemic Carbohydrate (38g per serve)

Carbohydrates that are high on the glycemic index (GI) are great for raising low blood sugars after intense exercising.  The glycemic index relates to the way your body's sugar levels respond to certain foods. The high GI carbohydrate will increase the body's sugar levels rapidly and assist in the fast delivery of the essential nutrients contained in this unique formulation.

Creatine (5g per serve)
Creatine has been the subject of over 400 research studies in the past decade, focusing primarily on muscle performance and development.  size both in healthy athletes and in individuals with neuromuscular diseases.  Creatine is a pivotal nutrient in muscle energy production and may also influence the re-fuelling and recovery of muscles. Creatine has been proven to increase strength which will allow you to train harder so you can improve your performance repeatedly.

Beta Alanine (2g per serve)
Beta-Alanine is a non-essential amino acid that forms protein. and enzymes  Beta-alanine acts as an intracellular buffer to offset acid production in the muscle and helps delay muscle fatigue, increase power and strength and speed recovery.  Beta-alanine has a role in the synthesis of carnosine, a naturally-occurring dipeptide found in high concentration in brain and muscle tissues.  Studies have shown that supplementing for just 4 weeks with Beta Alanine can increase Carnosine by 42-65%. Studies on 10-12 weeks has shown increases of up to 80%.  Performance benefits are generally seen within the first 2-3 weeks however some individuals will notice results within a week.  The latest innovation in muscle recovery.

Glutamine (5g per serve)
Glutamine has been studied extensively over the past 10-15 years and has been shown to be useful in treatment of serious illnesses, injury, trauma, burns and cancer.  Glutamine has recently been re-classified as a conditionally essential amino acid, it is pre predominantly synthesized and stored in skeletal muscle. While the body can make glutamine, under extreme physical stress, i.e. training or competition, the demand for glutamine exceeds the body's ability to synthesize it. Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body with approximately 60% of skeletal muscle tissue made up from it.  Glutamine assists in the transport of other amino acids into the muscle tissue therefore enhancing the recovery process.  Glutamine has a number of health benefits including the which include support of the immune system and enhancing digestion for better nutrient absorption., nitrogen shuttling, oxidative stress, muscle preservation, intestinal health, injuries, and much more.  Therefore a vital ingredient in the Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack.

Branch Chain Amino Acid (BCAA) (3.5g per serve)
The combination of these three essential amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine make up approximately a third of  all skeletal muscle in the human body and play an important role in new muscle development and recovery protein synthesis.  It has been demonstrated that BCAA supplementation in combination accordance with carbohydrate intake following resistance exercise increases insulin output by over 200%. This increase translation leads to the production and transportation of proteins to build and repair muscle.  This building and re-building of the muscle tissue is critical for recovery and ongoing consistent performance.

HMB (1g per serve)
HMB is a metabolite of leucine, one of the body's essential amino acids.  HMB plays a role in the synthesis of muscle tissue in response to exercise, it may prevent muscle breakdown as well as accelerate muscle repair.

Taurine (3g per serve)
Taurine is a non-essential amino acid.  Taurine is often used in combination with supplements such as creatine, recent findings have suggested that taurine alleviates muscle fatigue in strenuous workouts and raises exercise capacity.

Grape Seed Extract (42mg per serve)
Grape Seed Extract is high in Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins (OPC's or PCO's), making it a powerful antioxidant which can reduce the damage done by free radicals on muscle tissue while training.  Grape seed extract may strengthen and repair connective tissue, and promote enzyme activity,.  Additional benefits include an enhanced immune resistance, increased blood flow to muscles d peripheral circulation, reduced inflammatory response and has recently been discovered to be 20 times more potent than vitamin C and 50 times more potent than vitamin E as an antioxidant.

Magnesium (150mg per serve)
Magnesium is an essential mineral to the human body and has numerous functions essential for a quick recovery from those hard training sessions. It is needed for bone, protein, and fatty acid formation, making new cells, activating B vitamins for additional energy and relaxing muscles.  It is also essential for electrolyte balance, energy production and normal neuro-muscular function all vital for your ultimate recovery.

Vitamins and Minerals (20+ per serve)
A full range of vitamins and minerals have been added to assist in to boosting the immune system, support normal growth and development, and help cells and organs function normally and recover from exercise faster.  A fully comprehensive range is held in this innovative formulation.
