Lisa's Happy Snaps

Brrr, it sure was cold at the NABBA Counties show on Saturday 5 July but that didn't stop 19 enthusiastic hot bodies to compete though.  And they all deserve gold stars for stripping off in sub zero conditions.  OK, well not quite sub zero but it was only 6 degrees (or lower) in Akl that day!  While it was a small show we did see some quality figures. Standing out in the figure class was Kym Carter whose condition was akin to a racehorse, a very fine filly indeed.  Kym was lean, defined but not too ripped and was perfect for her first show this year.  She has a few more in mind and we look forward to seeing her get sharper as the contests approach.
Thomas Rapana can do no wrong.  Competing in his 3rd show, he has also won his 3rd overall titles! He previously won the NABBA BoP and NZFBB Akl.  His physique has refined with each show and can those abs get any better???
It was a tough tussel in the Open women's physique class with the rematch of Bev and Teneka who previously competed at the Nationals last year, where Bev won.  Although Bev outmuscled Teneka again again at this comp, Teneka did look pretty sharp...especially at the night show where her condition was better than the day.  If she'd come in the same way at day time, judges would've had an even tougher time with their judging.

So there you go, a short and sweet report, just like me.
Enjoy the pics!
