Lisa's Happy Snaps! Wow what a competition. I think that's been the best ever NABBA Nationals I'd been to for a long time, and I've been to a few!! the standard this year in all classes were amazing. From the novice physiques and figures to the well conditioned lineup of the open classes (men and women) was a sight muscle lovers just savoured. Over 100 athletes competed in this show so we saw big lineups of great bodies in most classes. Masters Men had 9 in the line up, Senior Physique 35 and 45 totalled 10. Senior Figures and Novice Figure Tall with 7 each. In a turnaround from the NZFBB Nationals, Fiona Wallace beat out Teneka in the Novice Figure Short class with her harder bod. |

Eve Dombrovski, who won the Nov Fig Tall title, showed she'd been working hard all year showing off her increased mass. So watch out the Open Class! speaking of the open class, what a sight to see such beautifully presented muscly babes on stage. They were all gorgeous and it was Katrina Hall, who came in leaner and meaner this year, who took out the class and overall title. The Open Women's physique class was great to watch too. Suzie, Bev and Jenny all had well etched muscle with plenty of mass. But it was Bev's super hard muscle that helped her take the class, to go along with the Novice title she won last year. But I think the most anticipated was the Novice and Open Physique Men's classes. Nothing better than seeing plenty of muscle and testosterone on stage and these guys delivered. Tony O'Connor, in only his 2nd comp, outmuscled some tough competition with his mass and detailed while Nathan O'Hearn in the Open Men's class did the same then doubled it with his new improved physique. Nathan came to this show meaning business and he had shredded glutes to prove it! this was the best condition Nathan's been so his Physique Men's as well as the Overall Title was well deserved. Check out bottom of page for Nathan's butt kicking condition! Thank you to all the athletes who put in the hardwork to get on stage and astrond us with your bodies. Many of you have competed more than 4 times this year, off the top of my head there's Lisa Bellingham (amazing 10 times by next show!), Greg Mawson 6!, Teneka 5, Kym Karter, Karyn Kelly, Wendy Sole, Jill Clark and others who I can't remember. But well done for your marathon efforts. |
