His contest goal for 2011 is to compete at the NABBA Universe
in Southport England. Steve will compete in the junior class where
he hopes to step on stage at
110kg, yes another scary thought for his competitors as he
does have the freaky mass and condition to catch the judges
eyes.
Steve says the offseason 09 and 2010 is the first time ever he's
dedicated his time to his diet. Previously, especially before
his first comp at the Elite, he had been running as part of rugby
training. This change in focus to bodybuilding meant that he
has dedicated more time to daily weight training sessions and
eating 6-7 times a day, and doing less cardio in the off
season.
This change in training reflected in his increase in contest
weight.
At the Elite show in 09 Steve weighed in at 92kg on stage. At
the NABBA/WFF his contest weight increased to 104kg and with
improved condition to match.

Steve trains 6 days a week, training 1 bodypart each day. He's a
typical bodybuilder and admits he always wants to get bigger and
thinks he can improve as he's never fully happy with how he
looks. While most of his body's pretty impressive Steve says
he wants to build his arms to be in proportion to his delts and
aims to train his biceps twice a week.
As you can see Steve has scary potential and we look forward to
seeing him develop in years to come!
