Jayne Shadbolt-Thin

Remembering Jayne. Jayne passed away on 12 March 07. She was an awesome figure who was a prominant competitor in the South Island bodybuilding scene for many years. With her husband Warren, they've been the power couple who've been instrumental in orgnanising contests and flying the NABBA flag in Christchurch.

She was an inspiration to many figure girls in the south and was a mentor to many encouraging them to compete. On the stage she was poised and the consumate poser. Jayne also represented NZ at numerous NABBA Universe Champs.

I spent my formative years working with Jayne and Warren in Christchurch who took me under their wing and taught me the the ropes of bodybuilding. I'll remember Jayne (and Warren) as a great mentor who was vibrant, enthusiastic and supportive to many athletes.

Here are pics of Jayne at her last contest, the 2005 NABBA Pro Am in which she competed in the Open Figure Class. It was great to capture you again..even if it was the last time.
