Figure athlete Trinity Sax made a successful return to the stage after almost 2 years in hibernation by winning the NABBA Open Figure Short and Overall Figure at the NABBA WFF Pan Pacific Champs in Auckland on 29 August.

I caught up with Trinity 2 days before the contest to video her last training before the big day!

During her training, her trainer Eleanor Stewart put Trinity through a gruelling leg workout to burm up any last bit of glycogen and water still hanging on inside Trinity's body.  The workout included:
- Squats 30 reps x 3 sets
- Single leg lunges 20 reps x 3 sets each side
- Circuit: leg extension, leg press, leg curl 20 reps x 3 sets
