Ta da! well did you recognise me?!!!  thought I'd go all out and get all girlified and blinged out for the NABBA North Harbour. As I said in my last update, its all or nothing!

Nobody recognised me or at least they had to do a double take - which was the effect I wanted.  It was basically like wearing camouflage, even my clients didn't recognise the sexy new 'model'.

My hairdressers Lee and Janette at Suede in Mt Eden did a fab job turning my hair to its natural colour and then putting some extra extensions into it and giving me a new up 'do'. Then Jacqueline Lewis did a fantastic job with my make up and voila! a brand new me.  Even I didn't recognise myself.  Scary but I must admit I did enjoy my girlie side.

The Thank Yous! there wasn't enough space for me to thank everyone at te show so I'd like to take the opportunity to acknowledge all those who've helped me get here this year.

Balance. To Martin at Balance, thanks for your generosity in keeping me fed with your super supplements. And for your continued support of bodybuilding.
Linni and Tony @ Environment for your enthusiasm and willing me on to compete in the first place.
The I.T guy for your smiley face in our training sessions even when I didn't feel likeit!
Natalie Hammond for her magic Bowen therapy sessions and fixing my injuries and being my biggest stalker :)
Ali Gascoine for your friendship and support, and for my awesome bikini
Kirstine Nelson for putting the extra zing and bling on my bikini for the North Harbour
Maree and Allan Stubbington for spray tanning me with Kabakoff contest colour and for your die hard love of bodybuilding. Thanks for your support of all the athletes you help.
Collette Skinner for lending me your shoes. Your turn next!
Dawne Foenander for being a super client and for your positive spirit
To my competing Go Figure Girls!  wow you girls are awesome. Thanks for continuing with me and willing me on to get up on stage to have fun with you girls.  North Harbour was fun fun fun!

and ofcourse to my partner G for his patience and support throughout the year.

Also to all those regular 7000 Go Figure viewers out there, you've had a hand in helping me achieve my goals too. Without you watching I may have strayed from my plan. So thanks for watching!

Here are some more pics of me from the show thanks to Allen Stubbington for taking them otherwise I'd have none as momento!

Considering I only learned the Shape poses a week before I think I carried it off quite well. Still, would love to do more poses like the figure girls as it seemed only a short time we were on stage.

Strange to look at myself as it doesn't look like me all glammed up so amazing to see what a coat of paint can do!

I'm happy with my legs and butt but I know I could've been abit leaner on top.  I think I did lose some muscle mass since Samoa, I guess I was just trying too hard on my diet and perhaps didn't cut back on my cardio enough.  Oh well live and learn eh?!

I really have to sort out my abs! a couple are there in the morning but by end of day - or in this case in the afternoon - I just seem to get really waterlogged like a tank truck!

But overall I'm happy with the day and glad that I pushed myself to get all dollied up and be a girl!

Most importantly I'm proudest of myself to fulfilling my goal to compete in not 1 but 2 shows. Many people say they'll compete, start to do it then give up so I'll give myself a big pat on the back for that!

I'll contemplate my next goal over a magnum or 2 and let you know in my next update.

Hope I didn't go overboard with the pics!
see you
Lisa, Go Figure

p.s in case you're wondering, I found my lost trophy! someone accidentally picked it up. I knew it would turn up somewhere somehow.
