Video! Jamie Cameron and Naera Johnson's routine that got the crowd clapping. The had no choice! A technical glitch made the music stop but being true professionals, seasoned bodybuilders Naera and Jamie did their routine to the beat of the audience clapping. It was fun!

The 2009 NZFBB AGM was held on Sunday, July 26 and here is the new look NZFBB Executive:
President: Moe Elmoussawi
Vice-President: Terry Hills
Judges Chairman: Brian McFarlane
Secretary: Johanna Moses
Treasurer: Miwah Van
Executive Directors: Willie Walker, Simon Von-Sasson, Bronwyn Inglis & Rachael Desmond
CONFIRMATION: The 2009 NZFBB NZ National Champs will now be held on Saturday, Oct 10 at the Logan Campbell Centre, 217 Greenlane West, Epsom, AUCKLAND. It was previously scheduled to be held on Oct 3 in Hamilton. The event will be co-organised by Brian McFarlane and Moe Elmoussawi.
As the Nationals have been moved to Oct 10, the NZFBB River City Classic in Wanganui will be held on Oct 3 (instead of Oct 10) and will be a dual qualifier for both the 2009 and 2010 NZ National Champs. The NZFBB would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience these changes have caused.

We do some quickfire questions with LA Muscle Team of Jamie Cameron, Naera Johnson and Matt Clark and their journey to the NABBA Bay of Plenty comp on 18 July.
Was this a group decision to all compete at the same show? Jamie and I decided to compete in couples last year at the North Harbour show, we encouraged Matt to join us. It took a little persauding, but he loves it..
Was it 'easier' to have the group support during your pre contest prep It's business as usual really, we all eat the same and do our own thing with training. We occasionally all train together which is a bonus.

On the second leg of the kiwi girls roadtrip to the gold coast, some of the girls competed in the WNBF (World Natural Bodybuilding Federation). May as well, since they've worked so hard to get into shape!
This show was run quite differently to the ANB the previous day. Not only was this a one show format but also included class titles that were different too.
