Nine years hard work in the gym sculpting her body and 5 years of bodybuilding competition has paid off for our latest Figure Pro, Jamie Onekawa.

29 year old Jamie received her Pro card from NZIFBB President in February making her one of 5 kiwi Pro figures in NZ.

In this update we ask Jamie how she made a big turnaround from her hard condition of 2010 to her more rounded figure in 2011.  We also find out if we'll see her and her Pro partner Darryn, compete in the same contest.

Plus she gives us her number 1 tips for muscle building and fat loss.

25th birthday
This update comes from Nuria Novoa and her amazing client Christchurch teacher and bikini/ figure athlete Aimee Bonner.

Aimee Bonner is one of the most resilient clients I have worked with, and it’s for this reason I thought she would make a great Wonder Woman!

We all know Christchurch has had a traumatic time since Sept 2010.

2 years of hard slog later at NZIFBB Nats, Aimee looks great at 27
Having stayed there until after the Feb 2011 quake myself & with regular visits home I know how big the stress levels have been for many people. Being scared for your life more than once and wandering around aimlessly on bad (shaky) days just waiting for the next one is a horrible thing to have experienced.

Our eyes nearly popped out of our head when we recently saw multi titled senior figure 35 athlete Vanessa Bartley training shoulders at Fitness Plus.

Although she's not competing till later in the year, we were surprised and impressed with how much muscle density she has gained while still remaining lean.  Jason isn't looking too shabby either lol.

As you can see by the video below Vanessa is super focused while training her shoulders and goes about her reps in good form.

We would've loved to have shot more video but unfortunately we ran out of time but you get the idea of Vanessa's training regime.

Check out how Vanessa looked before she started bodybuilding.  It will surprise and inspire you!  Vanessa Bartley wonder woman story here
